Status: Convict, 7 years transportation.
Isabella Clarkson was convicted at Middlesex Assizes in 1808 of the
theft of linen and sentenced to 7 years transportation. There is no
record of a marriage with James McGowan but they had a daughter Clara
in February 1814.
